

Eleanor was born in Portland, ME and was the daughter of the late Albert and Hazel Dansereau. She retired from West Side Marketplace in Rocky Hill, CT in 2000.
“Ellie” was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching her favorite teams, the Boston Red Sox, Celtics, and New York Giants. She was also a big music fan and especially loved listening to Elvis Presley. In her younger years, she enjoyed bowling in various leagues. She will also be remembered for her love of cooking, especially her delicious pasta sauce and shepherd’s pie.
She is survived by her daughter Mary Ann Giuliano and her husband Bill, her two sons, Joseph and his wife Cynthia, and Michael and is wife Michele, her three precious granddaughters; Victoria, Micailah, and Kayla Buttaro. She is also survived by her two brothers; Jack and Roy Dansereau, and two sisters; Jean Was and Jane Larco. She was also predeceased by a sister, Marion Sperazza.
Per her wishes, there will be no calling hours. However, a funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 25th at 10:00 AM at St. Ann Church, 47 Clark St, New Britain. In lieu of flowers, donations be made to Vets' DAV.org - Disabled American Veterans Charity
