I'm so sorry for your loss of your mother. I took care of her at Southington care center, i will miss her dearly, with all the joking and laughing she did with us aides, and the conversation we had. She was a great woman that let us call her Grandma Elsie. May she rest in peace now, and may god bless your family at this difficult time.

My overall memories of Elsie was that she was always smiling. It didn't matter if she was having a bad day or was sick in the hospital. Every time I saw her she would smile so brightly it would light up a room. Even when she moved into Southington Care and was unsure about her new surroundings she managed to get through it with a great positive attitude. I will miss her greatly. She was family to me and I felt lucky to have known her.

Snookie was a real sweetheart. She faithfully sent me a Holiday card each year. I will miss that small connection as I still miss Michael. I am out of town tomorrow and Friday and will miss the calling hours and funeral. I would have liked seeing the family. It's been a long time. My condolences. Ruth Gordon

Rest in peace, sweet lady. Your work on this earth is done. Your raised amazing sons. Your contribution of love, joy, and song to your world and particularly your church are legend.
We will meet again.
Love you.

We will always remember Aunt Snookie for the sweetest lady we have known. As well as the Christmas cards she would send us every year usually in the end of January! And of course for her famous stage presence at out wedding as she led the crowd singing the words to I Love New York. She was blessed to have had a long life lived to the fullest and she will be greatly missed. Love and Hugs to all!

Loved Aunt Snookie! She knew me when I was in Barbara’s belly! She always had something to talk about with me and I enjoyed our visits. She loved her house and family. Her boys did so much for her and love you for it! Missing her.
