Ela, as she was known, was born October 31, 1953 in Opole Lubelskie, Poland to Waclawa and Boguslaw Pytlewski. At a young age, Ela spent much of her time in the local church in Opole Lubelskie which sparked her unending devotion to the Lord. Ela excelled in her education career by finishing her Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering, while simultaneously obtaining a teaching degree at the University Zielonogorski, where she met and married Wladyslaw Radziwillowicz. While still in Poland she worked as a Mechanical Engineer in Zielona Gora and a teacher in Opole Lubelskie, during which Ela and Walter started a beautiful family.
In 1986, Ela and Walter embarked on a new life in the United States where their family flourished. With their four girls, Ania, Kasia, Karolina and Agatka, Ela and Walter started their own electrical company, which her husband named after her. In the U.S., Ela and her family made many close friends and became further immersed in church life. In addition to being a parishioner in Sacred Heart Church, Ela was a member of the prayer group, Rodzina Nazaretanska, where she further studied and lived God’s word. As a means to ensure her family’s relationship with the Polish culture, Ela was also an active member in Zwiazek Harcerstwa Polskiego for many years, as an instructor for the various youth groups within the organization.
Ela was held dear for her devotion to her family, the church, and local community. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
Ela is survived by her mother Waclawa Pytlewska; husband Wladyslaw Radziwillowicz; daughters Anna Mikolajczyk, Katarzyna R. Brown, Karolina Radziwillowicz, Agatka Radziwillowicz; grandchildren Dominik and Andrzej Mikolajczyk; sisters, Maria Szewc and Barbara Denejka; and a number of other loving relatives and close friends.
