Eugene S. Ciancimino

Eugene S. Ciancimino, 70, of Newington and formerly of New Britain, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 22, 2011. Eugene was born in New Britain and was the son of the late James and Angeline (DeFelice) Ciancimino. He attended local schools and had been employed as a machinist for Honeywell for 25 years. He was an avid NY Yankees and NY Giants fan, loved fishing and enjoyed playing the X-Box.

He is survived and will be dearly missed by his dear brother, with whom he made his home, James Ciancimino and his wife Barbara of Newington, his nieces; Darcie Robinson and husband Chad of Southington, Dawn Ciancimino and her finace Jamie Guerrette of New Britain, Julie Lucas and husband Thomas of Madison , Kristin DeMaio of Kensington and her husband the late Michael B. DeMaio, formerly of New Britain, Paul and Elzbieta DeMaio of New Britain , his great nieces and nephews: Sadie and Cody Robinson, Michael, Kailie and Taylor DeMaio, Emma, Court, and Natalie Lucas and Cecilia and Dominick DeMaio and extended family, including aunts and cousins, here and in Italy.

Visitation hours will be held Monday, Sept. 26 from 5-8pm at the New Britain Memorial Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home 444 Farmington Ave., New Britain. His Funeral will begin Tuesday, September 27, 2011 9am from the funeral home, with the Funeral Liturgy at 10am in St. Ann Church. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery.
