

Eugenia Fal, age 93, of New Britain, Connecticut, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 26th, 2025. She was born on October 6,1932 in a small village in Poland to late Jan and Nadzieja Mucij. There she started her family with her predeceased husband Antoni Fal. In 1976 they immigrated to reunite with her husband's family in New Britain, Ct. They left behind her sister Fanka Mucij and their daughter Zofia and son-in-law Jurek Kupicz. Her predeceased son Stefan Fal and living daughter-in-law Jadwiga Fal joined them in New Britain. She was a devoted wife and mother, determined to build a new life she started working at Winslow Automatic (Podlasek) and then later in life worked at CNG (housekeeping).
She was blessed with her grandchildren: Martyna Fal, Krystof and great-daughter-in-law Natalka Kupicz, Tomasz and great-daughter-in-law Angelica Kupicz, Monica and great-son-in-law Marcin Kulakowski and predeceased Mark Fal.
She also leaves behind her great grandchildren: Austin Rowell, Sofia Kupicz, Anna, Nina, Natalka Kupicz.
Eugenia was an active parishioner of St Josaphat's Ukrainian Catholic Church in New Britain and active in the women's cooking and baking group making pierogis and babka breads. She will truly be missed especially by her lifelong friend and sister-in law Stefania Dubik.
We would like to sincerely thank the staff at Autumn Lake Healthcare of New Britain and Vitas Hospice Healthcare for going above and beyond in caring for Eugenia. Special thanks to the staff that sat by her once she needed constant one on one care.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, December 8, 2025 at 11am at St Josaphat's Ukrainian Catholic Church, 303 Eddy Glover Blvd, New Britain, Ct.
Burial will be announced as soon as date is confirmed.
