She was born in New Britain, was a lifelong resident and was the daughter of the late Czeslaw and Boleslawa (Wroblewska) Rzewnicki. Phyllis was a retiree of Aetna after 35 years and a parishioner of St. Jerome Church.
She is survived and will be dearly missed by; her two sons, Robert Edmiston Jr. and his wife, Donnette of Bloomfield and Kevin Edmiston and his wife, Holly of Burlington, a daughter, Allison Peterson of Stafford, two brothers; Robert Rzewnicki and his wife Madelyn of New Britain and Leon Rzewnicki of Fl, a sister-in-law; Alvira Rzewnicki of Farmington, her grandchildren; Robert, Opal, Brittany, Eric, O’Neil, Omar and Orin and several nieces and nephews.She was also predeceased by her brothers: Ryszard and Henry Rzewnicki.
A time of visitation will be Wednesday, July 17, 2013 beginning at 7:30AM from the New Britain Memorial Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave., New Britain followed by the funeral liturgy at 9:00AM in St. Jerome Church. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
