She was born in Solofra, Italy and has been a resident of New Britain for over 50 years. Prior to her retirement she worked as a supervisor at the American Bazaar clothing manufacturer. She was a devoted member of St. Jerome Church.
Francesca came from a large Italian family of 25, she was a loving and generous women, who loved nothing more than making her wonderful food for her family and friends.
She was the widow of Peter Lentini and is survived by two brothers; Salvatore Troisi and his wife, Margaret of Colorado and Bruno Troisi of Switzerland.
She leaves several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at 9:00 AM from the New Britain/Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave. New Britain, followed by the funeral liturgy at 10:00 AM at St. Jerome Church.
Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery.
Calling hours will be on Monday, October 13th from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at the funeral home, Directions: I-84 take a right at the exit 37, funeral home is 1 1 /2 miles on your right.
