Genevieve (Jean) Margaret Solek, 90, of New Britain, passed away Tuesday, (February 27,2018). She was born in New Britain, daughter to the late John and Teresa (Zajac) Solek, was a lifetime resident and retiree of Pratt & Whitney. She is survived by two sisters; Helen Yokubinas of New Britain and Sophie Padova of Bayonnet Point, FL; a brother Walter Solek of Newington; two nieces; Desiree Moore and Kimberly Solek of New Britain and a nephew; Michael Solek of New Britain. She was predeceased by five brothers; Henry, Joseph, Edward, Stanley and Frank and sisters, Florence Solek and Ann King. Per Jean’s request, there are no services. New Britain Memorial Donald D.
