

Gloria Ruth (Johnson) LeBlanc, formerly a longtime resident of Greenwich, CT, passed away peacefully on March 9, 2022, at Masonicare at Ashlar Village Assisted Living in Wallingford, CT at the age of 98.
She was born January 12, 1924 in Brooklyn, NY, the daughter of Norwegian immigrants, Gustav and Signe (Holmquist) Johnson. She is predeceased by her husband of 72 years, Raymond LeBlanc, her daughter, Georgette LeBlanc Sessa, and sister, Constance Johnson Hughes. She leaves behind her daughters, Suzanne LeBlanc Miranda of East Haven, CT and Laura LeBlanc Hunt of Johns Creek, GA, her sister, Alice (Anthony) Marino of East Haven, CT, and son-in-law, Conio Sessa of Stamford, CT. She also leaves behind six grandchildren, Kristina (Paul) Krause of Sandy Springs, GA, Terry (J.R.) (Jennifer) Hunt of Scottsdale, AZ, Allison (Donald) Maurais of Winter Park, CO, David (Laura) Sessa of Arlington, VA, Janette (Christopher) Ward of Kensington, MD, and Christopher Cavagnuolo of Ansonia, CT, along with nine great-grandchildren, Amanda, Nick and Ethan Krause, Olivia and Tyler Maurais, Quinten and Liliana Ward, and Christopher and Hunter Cavagnuolo. She and her husband loved boating, traveling, driving cross country countless times to their home they had in Chula Vista, CA, and visiting the land of her ancestors in Norway. They also loved spending time at their lakeside camp in Shapleigh, ME and visiting with numerous family members in Sanford, ME.
Memorial services will be held at a later date in Sanford, ME.
