Harvey F. Ackermann, 96, of Plymouth, CT, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at Cook-Willow Convalescent Hospital. Harvey was the beloved husband of the late Esther May Ackermann. He was born on February 6, 1919 in Bellville, IL, a son of the late Louis and Amelia (Weidler) Ackermann.
Harvey will be dearly missed by his children; Karen Cote, Esther D. Curry and Ronald Ackermann all of Thomaston, CT., Harvey F. Ackermann Jr. and James G. Ackermann of AZ., and 13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren, as well as his beloved Chihuahua, Tequila.
Mr. Ackermann proudly served in the Coast Guard and Navy.
The family would like to express their gratitude and appreciation to the staff at Cook-Willow Convalescent Hospital for taking such wonderful care and compassion of their father.
