Hermes was born on January 2nd, 1948 in Lares, Puerto Rico to parents Jose and Eduardina (Gonzalez) Perez.
Hermes was predeceased by his siblings Angelica Perez, Felix Perez, Sixto Perez, and Margarita Perez.
He will be remembered by his loving wife Emma (Morales), his two loyal sons William Sanchez and Eluid Sanchez, his remaining siblings Juanita Perez, Sonia Perez, Jose Luis Perez, Carmen Ana Perez, and Ismael Perez, along with many grandchildren and other friends and family.
Visitation will be held at New Britain Memorial Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave, New Britain, CT 06053, US, on October 16, 2026, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, followed by a Celebration of Life at the same location from 12:00 pm to 12:30 pm.
