

Irma Ejza 100 years of age, of Kensington passed away in her sleep on Friday June 6th, 2014 at Ledgecrest health center. Irma was born November 1st, 1913 in Varese, Italy. She was born to the late Carmine and Raffaela (Marino) Oriolli. She now joins her deceased brothers and sisters, Lewis Orioli, August Orioli, Lawrence Orioli, George Orioli, Ben Orioli, Ida Manafort, Julia Kordek, and Betty Winalski.
Irma was married on November 27, 1941 at St Anns church to Andrew “Henry” Ejza. Andrew was an Army sergeant during WWII, he received two Service Ribbons for his service at the battle of Guadalcanal. During his service overseas, Irma was working at Fafnir bearing supplying the bearings to their military arsenal. In 1964 Irma retired from Fafnir bearing after 25 years as a member of I.O.E. Andrew died on April 28th, 1984. Irma never fully recovered from losing him so early in their marriage.
During her marriage she enjoyed traveling with George, California, Hawaii, and Las Vegas to list a few. She enjoyed reading classic novels, Crocheting, and Cooking. She was an active member of St. Pauls church and the Association of Marian Helpers. Irma will be missed and forever remembered as a loyal, beautiful, caring, strong, and spiritual women.
Irma was cared for in her later years of life by her nieces and nephews, Angela Manafort, Frank Manafort, Gary Kordek, and Bobby Kordek. She is also survived by many more nieces, nephews, and friends that she loved very much.
Funeral service will be On Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at 11:30:00 AM at St. Paul’s Church,467 Alling St. Kensington, CT. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. New Britain Memorial Donald D. Sagarino 444, Farmington Ave. New Britain is serving the family.
