Izydor Perun

Izydor Perun, 86, husband of Anna (Romancio) Perun passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2011. Izydor was born in Poland and was the son of Joseph and Anistasia (Bilas) Perun. Izydor was a resident of New Britain for 50 years and a parishioner of St. Josephat Ukrainian Catholic church. He retired after a long time employment with Fafnir Bearing/Textron Co.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Anna (Ramancio) Perun; his daughter Halina Jewusiak and her husband, William of Berlin, CT; his son Zenon Perun and his wife, Sophie of Berlin, CT; his son Walter Perun and his wife, Brenda of East Hampton, CT; as well as by 5 grandchildren, Mark Perun, Lesia (Perun) Bowman and her husband, Alex, Peter Jewusiak; Gregory Perun and Christopher Perun.

Izydor’s family would like to extend a thank you to the wonderful nursing staff at Station 1 North at the Brittany Farms Health Center for their care, compassion and genuine concern for “IZZY”. We will remember your kindness.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at 9:00 AM at the New Britain Memorial &Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave. New Britain (directions: I-84, right off #37, 1 ½ miles on right) followed by the funeral liturgy at 10:00 AM at St. Josaphat Ukrainian Catholic Church. Burial will follow in St, Mary’s Cemetery. New Britain. Calling hours will be Today, Tuesday May 17th from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Panahyda service will be at the funeral home today at 7:00 PM
