

She was born in Poland, a daughter of the late Jozefa and Anny (Budnik) Mysliwiec. Jadwiga was a Communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church in New Britain, where she was very active in church volunteer work. Which included food preparation to support bingo, prayer chain and other social events. She is loved and appreciated by her children for her dedication to preparing the traditional polish Christmas eve (Wigilia) dinner each holiday season. She is survived by her daughter Barbara Zebrowski and her husband Vito of Shelton, her sons Mark and his wife Mary of Boston, MA and John of Buffalo, NY, two sisters Theresa Dzielendziak of Chicago and Helen Przekop of Agustow, Poland, seven grandchildren Christine, Daniel, Caitlin, Alison, Nicholas, Jessica and Owen and two great-grandchildren Avery and Andrew and several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her brother Stanislaw of Kamienna Stare, Poland. Funeral services will be held Saturday November 3rd at 9 AM from the New Britain Memorial-Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Avenue, followed by her Liturgy of Christian Burial 10AM in St. John the Evangelist Church. Entombment will follow in St. Mary’s Garden Mausoleum all in New Britain. Visiting hours are Friday at the funeral home from 6-8PM.
