I miss you Jim, 1 year went by quickly but sadly.  Saw Carolyn and Chris this morning for breakfast, how many times did we meet for breakfast??  Miss the apple cider donuts you brought to our visits.  Know that you are loved and thought of every passing hour. Love. Sue

To a wonderful Dad, a Loving husband, and a True friend to all. I met you through your son Clint, who was my friend! He was just like you. A father that was kind and having a great smile on life. God bless you and your family.

 I just realized that I can't read at your funeral tomorrow without cring, so here it is, this is what I wanted to say:

Jim was the youngest of my 3 brothers, I came along 2 yrs later, but he was always the favorite. 

I remember when:
♡ Mom would separate the food on his plate with bread crusts - but only him.
♡He would measure his ears & I would say the right one was bigger just to start trouble.
♡Jim wouldn't stay at Uncle Charlie's for the night & insisted on going home upon arrival, his nickname "The Crank" was born.
♡Jim always lovingly helped our parents & never complained. 
♡The time I scratched his beloved Chevy and tried to wash it off,  boy was he mad at me.
♡I'll remember growing up in the projects.
♡Chasing the ice cream truck
♡Shooting the BB gun
♡Burping contests
♡Weddings
♡Dough pies
♡Our boys playing
♡Holidays
♡DDRH
and you.  
So glad you were my brother, I will miss you forever.


My earlier memories of Uncle Jim when I was a child…mustache, dough pies, spending hours playing with Clint and Chris, and all the family get togethers we would have at his house.  Those memories are precious to me and I will always cherish them.

Uncle Jim would watch movies with us like Ghostbusters or Big Trouble in Little China.  I will miss his laughter and corky sense of humor.  Uncle Jim was notorious for coming out with one line zingers which had you belly laughing.  My wife still chuckles about the story Uncle Jim told her about the Bleach Man coming around when he grew up in the projects of New Britain.

Uncle Jim, you were a great uncle to me and my brothers. On behalf of myself, my wife Cathy, and son Wesley, know you are loved and will be forever missed.

Jim and I meet at Sears warehouse in Newington the summer of 1968.  We both worked part time and attended CCSU.  During this time we both meet our wives and became best of friends.  We all enjoyed spending time at Compensating Reservoir in New Hartford.  In 1972 we both were married.  As time went on Jim had two sons and I had three. We both lived in Southington for the first few years and our families would  have great times together.  Jim loved his family so much.  They were the light of his life.  Jim  was my brother and I will truly miss him. Recently, when we would say good bye to each other.  It was always  I love you.   

I’ve been a friend of Jim or as I called him JD since the 7th grade. We both liked John Wayne movies,shooting BB guns in his basement and we shared the same sense of humor. When we became of age to find part time jobs Jim and I often worked at the same place. We both attended Pulaski high school and we each had 57 Chevys which we were both fanatic about keeping clean. We had many of the same classes and on weekends went to dances or just hung out at McDonalds on the Berlin Turnpike.When we were of drinking age we would drive to our favorite watering holeThe fore an Aft a bar and night club in White Plains Ny, usually on a Sat.night but not before he made me attend Mass with him and then it was ok to go out . In the later years we were in each other’s weddings and watched  our children grow celebrating birthdays ,confirmations etc. and although our lives often took different paths at times we remained close in proximity living in Plantsville. They say you can count your close friends on your hand and I consider JD one of them.I will always cherish the memories of good times and will miss you  God Bless.z
