Jane B. Gordon, 93, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 20, 2025. She was born July 2, 1932 in New Britain a daughter of the late William and Irene (Welch) Gordon. Jane was a lifelong resident of New Britain and graduated from New Britain High School. She worked for New Britain Machine Co. for 35 years then landed her dream job at Central CT. State University Library where she made numerous new friends.
Jane is survived by her brother, David Gordon of Wethersfield, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, a sister-in-law; Patricia Gordon of New Britain and a cousin Jerry Erwin of West Hartford. She was predeceased by a sister, Irene Griffin, a brother William Gordon, sister-in-law Karen Gordon
and a niece Cheryl Volpe.
Relatives and friends my call at the New Britain Memorial-Donald D.Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave, New Britain on Saturday August 23 from 9-10am. A Mass of Christian burial will follow at 10:30am at St. Jerome Church, 1010 Slater Rd., New Britain, CT. Burial will be at St. Mary Cemetery, Stanley St., New Britain.
