Janet M Gagnon 83, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Wednesday, August 5, 2026. She was born on September 23, 1942, in Meriden, CT a daughter of the late John and Helen (Domrad) Vieira. She was the wife of the late Clarence Gagnon for 50 years before his passing in 2022. She loved spending time with her family especially her two dogs; Cuddles and Angel.
Janet is survived by her son Bryan Gagnon of New Britain, four grandsons; Dustin, Kevin, Marvin, and Christopher Gagnon, one great-grandson; Malio, two sisters; Nancy (Brian) Youmans of New Britain, Madelene (Donald) Swanner of Missouri, two brothers; Richard Vieira of Plainville and Robert (Nadine) Vieira of New Britain as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son; William Gagnon and a brother; John Vieira.
Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Saturday, September 12 from 9-10am followed by a funeral service at 10am. Burial will be at CT State Veteran Cemetery, Middletown, CT
