Janina Fadziewicz Kozlowski

Janina Kozlowka, 87, passed on Thursday, January 31, 2013. She was born in Poland and was the wife of the late Bronislaw Kozlowski, and the daughter of the late Jozef and Maria (Dobrowolska) Fadziewicz. She resided in New Britain for 47 years and retired from Honeywell in 1987. She maintained a simple life, won the trust and hearts of many. She was dedicated to her family, taught them family values and traditions that her children and grandchildren will never forget. Janina loved to read, travel, cook and was dedicated to her faith. She will be greatly missed.

Janina is survived by her children, Czeslaw Kozlowski and his wife, Anna; Krystyna Szczypinski and her husband, Andrew; Valentyna Walder and her husband, William; and Jozef Kozlowski. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Heidi (Ela) Frakl and her husband, Michael; Andrew and Thomas Kozlowski; as well as her beloved great-grandson, Simon. She is also survived by her sister-in-laws, Regina and Ludwika Fadziewicz and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Michael, Walerian and Jozef; and sister, Genia.

Janina's family would like to thank the staff at the Walnut Hill Care Center, New Britain, CT for their loving support and care during the last few months of her life.

Funeral will be on Monday, February 4, 2013 8:30 a.m. at New Britain Memorial /Donald D.Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave., New Britain, followed by the funeral eulogy at 9:30...... a.m. at Sacred Heart Church. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery. Calling hours will be Sunday, February 3, 2013 from 2:00.. p.m. to 5:00.... p.m at the funeral
