Jozef Walas, 60, husband of the late Elizabeth (Biernacki) Walas (who predeceased him just three months earlier on January 7th, 2025), passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 2nd, 2025, in Berlin. He was born June 19th, 1964, in New Britain and was the son of the late Jozef and Regina (Prejs) Walas.
Jozef is survived by his bother Stanley Walas and sister-in-law Natalie (Attardo) Walas of Hebron, his brother Chester Walas and sister-in-law Julia (Massolin) Walas of Argentina, and a sister Krystyna (Walas) Cefaratti of Southington. He was predeceased by a brother Richard Walas.
Jozef also leaves behind numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Services will be held at New Britain Memorial & Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home on 444 Farmington Avenue in New Britain. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 22nd from 10am-12pm with a mass beginning at 12pm.
