She was born in Poland and came to the US in 1963, making her home in New Britain. For the past 7 years she resided in Berlin. She was formerly employed at Emhart Corp. for 10 years. She was a member of Holy Cross Church and the Rosary Society. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother and her greatest joy was being with her family.
Everyone looked forward to going to Babcia’s house for breakfast on Sunday.
She was the widow of Jan Wisniowski and is survived by her devoted family, Mary Grzegorzek of New Britain; Sophie Janik of Berlin; Stanley Wisniowski of Berlin with whom she made her home; Joseph Wisniowski and his wife, Wanda of Berlin; John Wisniowski and his wife, Maryann of Enfield; Ann Glover and her husband, Michael of Bristol; Peter Wisniowski and his wife, Cindy of Marston Mills, MA;
She leaves 14 beloved grandchildren who were her pride and joy and 7 precious great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by two sons in law, Walenty Grzegorzek and Joseph Janik.
Funeral Services will be on Saturday, September 1, 2012 at 9:00 AM at the New Britain Memorial /Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave. New Britain, followed by the funeral liturgy at 10:00 AM at Holy Cross Church. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
Relatives and friends are invited to pay their last respects on Friday, August 31st from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the New Britain Memorial Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home (Directions: Exit 37 off I-94 take a right at the exit 1 ½ miles on your right.
