Kathleen A. Jakubowicz

Kathleen was born Nov. 8, 1946 in New Britain and is the daughter of Bertha (Bazar) Bak of New Britain and the late Joseph Bak. She graduated New Britain High School, class of 1963, attended Morse College. Kathleen had been employed by Dr. Peter Abt and was a member of Immaculate Conception Church. She enjoyed spending most of her time with her beautiful grandchildren and will be most remembered for being warm and caring.

Kathleen is also survived and will be dearly missed by her two daughters: Jennifer Hamm and her husband Jacob of Plainville and Tricia Jakubowicz and her fiancé Chad Dutilly of Southington, her brother; Joseph Bak and his wife Kathryn of Southington, a sister; Beatrice Carrubba and her husband Robert of Soutington, her precious three grandchildren; Julia and Jozie Hamm and Colton Dutilly, many special nieces and nephews and dear friends.

Funeral services will begin Saturday, Nov. 19, 2011 at 10:30 am at the New Britain Memorial Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave., New Britain, followed by the Funeral Liturgy at 11:30am in Holy Cross Church. Burial will be at a later date. Visitation hours will be held Friday, Nov. 18, 2011 from 7-9pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
