Kazimiera Cmuchowski 88, wife of the late Ralph Cmuchowski, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 6, 2026 surrounded by family. She was born on May 19, 1938 in Bardo, Poland a daughter of the late Andrzej and Marianna (Michalczyk) Cmuchowski. She lived most of her life in New Britain, was a parishioner of Holy Cross Church and had retired from Stanley Works. Kazimiera was proud to have earned a certificate from Central Ct. State University for statistical process control. Her passion was growing vegetables and flowers but especially teaching her grandchildren how to cook traditional Polish food.
Kazimiera is survived by two sons; Andrew Cmuchowski of New London, Robert Cmuchowski of Torrington, daughter in-law Irene Cmuchowski and two grandchildren. She was predeceased by two sisters in Poland.
Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Thursday, September 10, 2026 from 6-8pm at New Britain Memorial-Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home. 444 Farmington Ave., New Britain. Her funeral will be held on Friday, September 11 at 9:00 at the funeral home followed by a mass of Christian burial at 10:00 at Holy Cross Church, 31 Biruta St., New Britain. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, New Britain.
