

Lillian (Lombardi) Wojtusik, 94, of West Hartford, passed away peacefully at New Britain General Hospital on February 2, 2017. She was born in Hartford, CT, daughter of the late Joseph and Rose (Valluzzi) Lombardi. Lillian was an Analyst for the Internal Revenue Service and later the Social Security Administration, retiring in 1978. She was a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Church in New Britain. Her beloved husband Leon Wojtusik predeceased her on July 31, 1986. Lillian is survived by her daughter Donna Roman and her husband Terrence of Unionville, her son Theodore “Ted” Wojtusik of Farmington, two grandchildren Scott O’Dell and his wife Stephanie of Burlington, CT and Courtney O’Dell-Piper and her husband Bruce of East Hampton, two great-grandchildren, Jack and Finn Piper, her sister Rita Skinner of West Hartford and her sister in law Martha Lombardi of Newington, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her six brothers and one sister.
The Liturgy of Christian Burial will be at 10:30am on Monday February 6, 2017, at Saint Francis of Assisi Church, 1755 Stanley St, burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, 662 Burritt St, with committal prayers in the chapel, both in New Britain. A visiting hour will be held on Monday prior to church services, from 9:00AM-10:00AM at New Britain Memorial-Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Avenue, New Britain.
