Lorraine J. Thibeault, 68, wife of the late Roy Thibeault passed away on August 9, 2024. She was born August 27, 1955 in New Britain a daughter of the late John and Caroline (Valenti) Carfi. Until retiring Lorriane worked for the State of Connecticut administrative services. She was a lover of books and a member of clubs at both New Britain and West Hartford libraries. She graduated from Pulaski High School in 1974. Moody School of Commerce in 1976. A member of St Ann Church.
She is survived by three sisters; Carolyn Esherick of Burlington CT, Cheryl and David Drezek of Orange CT and Christine Moravec of Texas and a brother John and Sharon Carfi of South Windsor as well as nieces Emily Drezek and Rebecca Breen (Carfi) and nephews Nicholas and Benjamin Esherick, Alexander Drezek and Jeremy Carfi. She was pre-deceased by her husband Roy Thibeault, parents Caroline (Valenti) and John Carfi and brother-in-law Gerald Moravec.
A graveside service for family and friends will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2024 at 11am at St. Mary Cemetery, 1141 Stanley St., New Britain, CT. Donations can be made to New Britain or West Hartford public libraries in her name.
