Lucy M. Catucci

Lucy M. (Mazzarella) Catucci age 88 predeceased by her husband, Vito P. Catucci entered into eternal rest on October 13, 2019 after a long battle with Alzheimers. Lucy enjoyed a very successful career in banking as a bookkeeper for the Federal Savings Bank in New Britain. After retirement, Vito and Lucy moved to South Carolina and ultimately to West Palm Beach, Florida. Upon Vito’s passing Lucy relocated to Connecticut. Lucy is survived by her four children, Diane and Steve Yeager, Frank and Clementina Catucci, Paul Catucci and Lori and Jon St. Louis. Lucy also is survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial service will be held on Sunday October 20th from 2 PM to 4 PM at the New Britain Memorial -Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home 444 Farmington Ave. New Britain. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.

Donations in Lucy’s honor may be made to a special fund established when Vito passed in 2010. The fund is used to purchase equipment and support programs for patients at Backus Hospital and can be mailed to the Vito Catucci Fund c/o Philanthropy Office, Backus Hospital, 326 Washington St. Norwich CT. 06360.
