Lucy R. Eltman

She was a native and lifelong resident of New Britain and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine (Scalise) Carlone. Lucy was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was kind and generous and her greatest joy was cooking and taking care of her family.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 63 years, William C. Eltman Sr. she is also survived by two son, William C. Eltman Jr. and Richard Eltman and his wife, Cecelia of Berlin.

She leaves 5 beloved grandchildren, who where her pride and joy, Eric and Jeffrey Eltman; David, Kevin and Kaitlyn King; also surviving are four great grandchildren, Eric, Gabriel and Adrianna Eltman; and Emily Pike. Also surviving is her honorary granddaughter, Kaitlyn La Chapelle. She leaves many nieces and nephews. Lucy was predeceased by several brothers and sisters.

Calling hours will be on Monday February 20th from 4-7 PM at the at the New Britain Memorial Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave. New Britain, Ct. Directions. Exit 37 off I-84 take a right at the exit, 1 ½ miles on your right.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, February 21st at 9:15 AM at the Funeral Home followed by a funeral Liturgy at 10:00 AM at St. Ann’s Church, New Britain. Burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
