Maria Kaminski

Maria (Matejuk) Kaminski, 87, of Burlington, formerly New Britain, died at home on Saturday, October 11, 2025. She was born in Poland and immigrated to the United States, settling in New Britain, where she lived for over 50 years. Maria was a member of Sacred Heart Church in New Britain, General Haller Post #111 Ladies Auxiliary, and the Polish National Alliance (PNA), and was employed at Stanley Works for many years. She will be remembered for her quick wit, stories, and sense of humor.

She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Kaminski and is survived by her daughter Wanda and her husband Marek Cymek of Burlington and her sister Rozalia Kobylinska in Poland and extended family in Poland. She was predeceased by her sister Janina Gromadzka in Poland.

The family extends their sincere and deepest gratitude to all the caregivers, especially Zosia, for their compassionate care of Maria in her final days.

Calling Hours will be held Wednesday October 15, 2025 from 4PM to 7PM. A brief gathering will be held before Mass at New Britain Memorial Funeral Home on Thursday October 16, 2025 from 8:30AM to 9AM. Funeral Liturgy will be on Thursday October 16, 2025 at 9:30 AM at Sacred Heart Church 158 Broad St. New Britain. Interment will immediately follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery 662 Burritt St. New Britain

Rodzina składa szczere i najgłębsze podziękowania wszystkim opiekunom, a szczególnie Zosi, za ich troskliwą opiekę nad Marią w jej ostatnich dniach.
