Marian Olszewski, 90, beloved husband of Walentyna (Kosenkowska) Olszewski of 66 years, of New Britain, passed away on Friday, January 11, 2013. He was born in Poland and was son to the late Jozef and Cecelia (Sikorska) Olszewski and immigrated to the States from England in the 1950’s. He was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Church and the General Haller Post #111. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will begin Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013 at 8:30am from New Britain Memorial Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave., New Britain followed by funeral liturgy at 9:30am in Sacred Heart Church. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Visitation hours will be Monday, Jan. 14, 2013 from 6-8pm. The General Haller Post and its Auxiliary will meet at 6pm at the funeral home.
