Marian Wisniewski, 65, of New Britain, died on Monday, January 24, 2011 at the Msgr. Bojnowski Manor after a long illness. He was born in Poland and was the son of Aleksandra (Dzieniszewska) Wisniewski and the late Waclaw Wisniewski. Marian has lived in New Britain for over 40 years, was formerly employed by the Caval Tool Company and several small machine shops in the area. He was a member of Sacred Heart Church and the General Haller Post. Besides his mother, he is survived by his devoted sister, Irene Goracy and his niece Sandy who took special care of him during his long illness. He is also survived by his children, Elizabeth and Christopher, two brothers with their spouses, Edward Wisniewski and his wife, Sophie of Dudley, MA, Jerzy Wisniewski and his wife, Helen of Farmington, his two precious grandsons; Maxwell and Tyler and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday January 28, 2010 at 8:30 am from the New Britain Memorial Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave., New Britain, followed by the funeral liturgy at 9:30 am in Sacred Heart Church. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Calling hours will be held TODAY, Jan. 27, from 4-7pm at the funeral home. Directions: Exit 37 off I-84 take a right at the exit, 1 ½ miles on your right.
