Martha H. Roulard

Martha H. (Zup) Roulard, 92, passed peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, September 14, 2025. Martha is lovingly remembered by many siblings: Edmund (Sonny) Zup, Millie Schilling, Dorothy Lenoce, Jeanie Spencer, Shirley Mourneault and Patty Howse.

She is predeceased by her loving husband of over 54 years Albert (Butch) Roulard along with her sister Elsie and brother Ritchie.

She leaves behind several nieces and nephews from both side of her family.

Martha was educated at New Britain High School. She worked for Stanley Works for many years until she became a homemaker. She remained a Connecticut resident. She was a long-time member of St. Mary’s Church.

Martha had a great love for all animals, not only for her own dogs and cats. She was known to feed the strays and even feed the birds. What a heart she had!

Martha is also known for her cooking. She held Christmas Eve celebration every year with her famous meatballs and sauce. Martha also baked a variety of cookies which everyone got a plate full of cookies. This included the neighbors and the mailman.

Martha most certainly will be missed for her loving caring ways. Rest in peace Martha.

Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Thursday, September 25 from 9-10:30am at New Britain Memorial-Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave., New Britain. A funeral service will begin at 10:30 followed by burial at St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain.
