Mary Theresa McNamara Reihl

She leaves her beloved husband of 53 years John E. Reihl. Mary was born on July 19th, 1950 in Boston, Massachusetts. She was one of two daughters, born to the late Donald and Catherine McNamara. She was predeceased by her sister, Kathleen McNamara Johnson.

She graduated the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor's degree in English.

She was employed at Travelers Insurance Company for 5 years. Then she moved on to Newington Children's Hospital, where she was a financial manager until it became Connecticut Children's Medical Center to where she retired after 30 plus years.

Terry loved being by the water. She often spent her summers on Block Island at Payne's Dock with her many friends and fellow boaters also with Capt. John ( her husband.)

During the winter months, she loved going to her Villa in the Dominican Republic with her family and friends.

She was a woman that loved shopping, always had a smile for everybody and a story to tell for or those who would listen.

She was a wonderful wife, sister, friend and neighbor to all.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, September 26th at 11:30 at New Britain Memorial - Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Avenue, New Britain, Connecticut. A period of visitation will be held prior to at 10:30 to 11:30 am.
