Miroslaw (Mirek) Malz, 50, beloved husband of 28 years to Krystyna (Krasinska) passed away unexpectedly on October 2nd 2012. Mirek was born December 16th, 1961 in Poland to Stefania (Krysiak) and Stanislaw Malz. He immigrated to New Britain in 1982 with his parents and younger siblings where they lived for several years, then moved to Farmington 16 years ago with his wife and 3 children: Michelle, 18 and twins Victor and Veronica, 16. Mirek was a devoted and loyal employee of Pratt and Whitney for over 20 years. He was a parishioner of Holy Cross Church in New Britain and also a dedicated member of the church choir for 13 years.
Mirek loved his family more than anything and always wanted the best for them doing everything to provide a secure and loving home for them now and in the future. He approached any and every project with energy, creativity, confidence and zeal. He was the man with golden hands that enjoyed solving problems and gave his all to anything he was involved with. Reliability, hard-work and dedication were among his many virtues.
Mirek will be most remembered for the amazing man that he was. Mirek or as his friends called him “Ryba” was always willing to help anyone with anything at any time of day or night- provided they served him coffee, and Mirek loved his coffee. He never complained about his life, always lived in the moment and never wasted a day. He was an excellent dancer with flair and style; and always knew how to put a smile on everyone’s face. He was such a good friend to all. There was not a person who didn’t like him.
Besides his wife and children, Miroslaw is survived and will be profoundly missed by; his parents Stanislaw and Stefania, his brother Jerzy and his wife Barbara of Plainville, his sister Anna and her husband Janusz of New Britain, his brother Krzysztof and Anna, his nieces and nephews whom he loved very much; Nicholas, Cassandra, Justyna, Michael, Aleksandra, Julia, Daniel and Alexander. He will also be greatly missed by his many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, neighbors and co-workers both here in the US and in Poland. He was predeceased by his son, Thomas Malz.
He will be watching over all of us and will continue to help us throughout our days. He will be our Guardian Angel.
