Nicholas Magnano, 58, of New Britain, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on March 25, 2019. He was born in Middletown, a son of Angela (DiLernia) Magnano of New Britain and the late Sebastiano Magnano. He was a communicant of St. Ann Church and worked at Winslow Automatics, Inc as a machinist for many years. He was the drummer for the band Asylum and Wiseguy and enjoyed being a roadie for Joined Forces as well as Spirit Shaker. He enjoyed rock and roll music and spending time with his family and friends. In addition to his mother he is survived by his sister Ornella Kilduff and her husband Robert of New Britain, his sister law Linda Magnano of Bristol, several nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his brother Frank Magnano in 2013. A special thanks to all those that supported our family throughout Nick’s illness, for their assistance and support to us during our time of need. Funeral services will be Monday April 1, 2019 at 9AM from the New Britain Memorial-Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Avenue, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial 10AM in St. Ann Church, North St., burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Stanley Street, all in New Britain.
