She born in Lares, Puerto Rico on July 25th, 1929 to the late Braulio and Baudilia Gonzalez Barbosa and has been a resident of New Britain for 20 years.
A loving a devoted mother and grandmother, she is survived and will be dearly missed by her two daughters, Aida Alejandro and Norma Santiago, both of New Britain, her precious grandchildren Angel Cruz, Carmelo Ortiz, Carlos Rivera, Saviel Rivera, and Juan Rijo, and sweet great grandchildren; Angel Cruz, Ethan Ortiz and Ayden Cruz.
Funeral Services will begin Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2010 at 9:00am at the New Britain Memorial Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Avenue, New Britain, followed by the funeral liturgy at 10:00am in St. Mary Church. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, 453 Fairfield Avenue, Hartford. Visitation hours will be Monday, Dec. 20, 2010 from
4-9pm at the funeral home.
