Patricia (Lynch) Truskoski

Patricia Lynch Truskoski,70 of Pine Meadow, CT, daughter of the late John Lynch and Genevieve Shine of New Britain, beloved wife of the late Richard Myron Truskoski, died Thursday, April 1, 2010 at home. Born March 19, 1940 in New Britain, Pat was the loving mother of Eric Truskoski and his wife Brigitte of Cincinnati, Ohio and Alan Truskoski and his wife Amanda of Colebrook, CT; adored grandmother of Samantha and Anson; dear sister and best friend of Paula Lynch of Bristol, CT.

Pat was born and raised in New Britain, CT. As the oldest of her five siblings, she was like a second mother to her younger sisters. She met and married the love of her life, Richard Truskoski in 1960 and was happily married for 48 years. The quintessential Mom and a proud homemaker, she took tremendous joy in raising their two sons. She adored her grandchildren and loved to play with them for hours. A wonderful cook, she enjoyed having her family around her and loved to host holiday dinners to bring everyone together. An avid gardener, she loved to walk in Elizabeth Park relishing in the beauty of all the flowers. Pat was a strong, kind woman who took pleasure in all the little moments of life, like watching the birds on the porch or the deer in the yard. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her and will always have a very special place in our hearts.

Funeral Services will begin on Wednesday, April 7th at 9:00 am at the New Britain Memorial-Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Avenue, New Britain (I-84, Exit 37, right off exit, then 11/2 miles on right), followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at Holy Cross Church, Farmington Avenue, New Britain. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Calling Hours will be Tuesday, April 6th, from 5-8 pm at the funeral home.
