Paul Foligno

Paul Foligno, 84, of New Britain, passed away on Saturday, February 13, 2010. He was born in New Britain, son to the late Nicholas and Lucy (Giannini) Foligno and had proudly served in the US Army during WWII. Paul had also been employed by Central CT State College and retired after 34 years of service.

Paul is survived by, his three brothers: Michael Foligno of New Britain, Frank Foligno of Bristol and Thomas Foligno of Southington,several nieces and nephews including, his dear niece and nephew, Debbie A. Pomerenke of Bristol and Philip Koboski of Bristol, his sister, Annette Matera of West Hartford. Paul was predeceased by his sisters; Lillian A. Motto, Angie Koboski, Catherine DeBonee, Rose Bongiorno and brother Dominic.

Funeral Services will begin held Wednesday, February 17, 2010 at 10:00am at the New Britain Memorial & Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Avenue, New Britain followed by a prayer service at 11:00am at the funeral home. Burial with military honors will follow in the State Veterans Cemetery, Bow Lane, Middletown. Visitation hours will be held, Tuesday, Feb. 16th, from 6-8 pm at the funeral home (directions: I-84, right off exit #37, 1 ½ miles on right) Condolences may be offered at www.newbritainsagarino.com.
