Richard Joseph Dube

Richard Joseph Dube 85, husband of Christina (Connors) Dube passed away peacefully on June 23, 2026. He was born February 2, 1941 in Bristol, CT a son of the late Robert H. and Edna Mae (Kilduff) Dube. His service in the United States Marine Corps and the National Guard was a source of great pride. The bonds he built with his fellow service members became lifelong friendships that brought him joy, support, and cherished memories for many years. Over the years Richard held many different jobs, retiring from the United States Postal Service and, later, from driving a school van.

In addition to his wife Christina of 46 years, Richard is survived by two sons; Stuart (Stephanie) Dube of Plainville, Richard Dube Jr. of Farmington, two step-daughters; Cynthia (Gilles) Boudreau of Newington and Sherry Harger of Middletown, two brothers; Robert (Marie) Dube of Farmington and Kenneth Dube of New Britain as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family. He was predeceased by two brothers; David Dube and Richard's twin Philip Dube.

A Celebration of Richard’s life will take place on Saturday, July 4 from 12-3pm at the Burlington Men’s Club, 44 Covey Rd., Burlington, CT. Burial will be at the convenience
