Roger, we never had time to say our goodbyes, when you left us so suddenly. I will always miss the sound of your voice the stories about your farm land in Maine and WWII. Every time I heard your voice then saw your infectious smile made me want to spend more time with you as a caregiver and friend. It wasn’t a job but a delight that lifted our spirit, we were so lucky to have been part of your health care, to have your loveable Karen as a caring and loving person she is. No one could of ever done what Karen did for you Roger.
Roger you will be remembered for your unending smile and laugh that radiated where ever you went. I really liked the memory and smile it put on my face. You have such an infectious smile and your eyes would twinkle. My Deepest Sympathy go out to you Karen and Family May God give you the peace you so deserve Ron and I offer you our thoughts and prayer well wishes during this dark time in your life we will remember Roger of a life beautiful lived and heart so deeply loved. R.I.P.

To Karen & Denise
As kids, we had such a great neighborhood and had so much fun on Lurton St. Your Dad was such a kind and gentle man, as I remember. His barbershop was well known and visited by so many in the City. I am so sorry for your loss.
Sincerely Tom Naples

My poor Roger, you left us so suddenly, I have great memories taking care of you being your caretaker was a joy. You were always so happy when I use to come in at night you had a smile oh your face and great laugh made me happy to come into work. We use to have lots of laughs together. We had our routine every night 8 o’clock was snack time then have our singing sessions especially Christmas time was Christmas songs you had a great trembling voice knew all the words better then me but we managed together. We also did your Christmas tree together, this year I was looking forward to it but you decided to leave us and join your loved ones at a better peaceful place, Roger you will be missed by a lot of people you were a happy man.
Bedtime was 10pm I use to cover you and say have no fear Rita’s here and you would laugh didn’t take you long you were asleep.
Morning time you would sit in your chair and watch the Yellow Finch in the Bird Feeder that Karen use to fill all the time cause she knew you loved birds. You would say look at all the birds sometimes we’d see Red Cardinals. Karen was a wonderful daughter she made sure you would never go without and looked after you all the time. Doctors’s appointments buying all the hygiene needed clothes for all the change of seasons, medication and so much more she was on top of things very well organized.
She would visit you everyday sometimes tired I could tell but never complained . She lost her Husband Luke this year saw her with tears in her eyes many times but kept looking out for you.
Well Roger I guess it was your time to leave us the last night I was with you I was watching you and you were smiling and you mention your wife’s name Viola and you had a big smile I said to myself he must see her, then you mention Karen’s name.
Roger I will never forget all my Great Memories of you ,your great smile, laugh and sense of humor being happy all the time. You will not be Forgotten!! Love Rita🌹

I met Roger and Vi about 15-20 years ago. Loved to chat with them. Roger and I went to the same elementary school. Did a lot of reminiscing. I truly enjoyed knowing him and Vi. Sincere condolences to his daughter Karen.
