Ronald A. Burdo Jr.

June 13, 1963August 26, 2020

Ronald A. Burdo Jr., 57, of New Britain, beloved husband of Lori (Otero) Burdo, passed away suddenly on Wednesday August 26, 2020. Ron was born in Manchester, Ct on June 13, 1963 and was the son of the late Ronald A. Burdo Sr. At the time of his death, Ron was employed as a detailer for Gengras Volkswagen of Plainville. Whether it was a car or a motorcycle, he was happiest when he was turning a wrench or detailing a car. He was also an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys! Ron was a devoted family man with an infectious smile. His wife, children and grand-children always came first. Ronald loved the true spirit of the outdoors. This could be due to the fact that Ron was half Mohawk Indian, something he was especially proud of. Besides his wife Lori, Ron is survived by his children; a son, David McCallister Jr. of Bristol and also by daughter, Leigha Rivera of New Britain, his brother Scott D. Burdo of New Haven, Vt., and by two sisters, Victoria Mullany of Bristol and Penny Burdo of Monson, MA. Ronald also leaves behind his six grand-children whom he adored, David McCallister III, William Diaz Jr., Angel Rivera, Sebastian Rivera, Autumn Rivera, and Olivia McCallister, and by several nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his four-legged companion Merlin. Visiting hours for Ron will be held on Friday August 28, 2020 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the New Britain Memorial/Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home 444 Farmington Ave. New Britain, Ct 06053. To leave an online condolence or for directions, please visit

Ron, though we grew a part over the last decade or so. (Said part is I don't even know why) I will never forget the decade+ that you lived with me and my family. Us sharing the same room and doing everything together. We seemed to be in separatable. We went everywhere and did everything together. These are the times I will focus on and not the years of lost time and memories. Resr In Piece Cuz!! Love you Brotha and please tell your father I love him and miss him more the words can ever express. Every Birthday of mine (May 25th) and the day he passed the first 2 or 3 shots are dedicated to him!!
