Sharon E. Rydlewicz

Sharon was born on August 31, 1948, in Torrington, CT to the late Douglas and Yvonne Kelley Colligan. She attended Torrington schools and graduated from Torrington High School in 1966. She was a 1969 graduate of the St. Francis Hospital School of Nursing and practiced nursing throughout the state of Connecticut until her retirement in 2018.

She is survived by siblings: Doug (Louise) Colligan of Amherst, MA, Bonna (Carl) Cassarino of Colchester, CT, Lynn Fehrenbach, Faye Ewen, and Margaret (Doug) Dobles, all of West Hartford, Carol Clapp of Torrington, and Judy Colligan of Hartford. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Joyce Rydlewicz-Coffey (Patrick) of Jewett City, CT, and many nieces and nephews and their families. Sharon was predeceased by her sister Susan Rosenbeck.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to New Britain Memorial Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery in Old Saybrook and will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations to Connecticut Foodshare (donate.ctfoodshare.org) are appreciated.
