A native of Harrison, New Jersey, Sister was the daughter of the late John and Helen (Pozarycki) Jankiewicz. Sister entered the Daughter of Mary on October 2, 1950.
A graduate of Seaton Hall University, Sister taught at Mary Immaculate Academy, Sacred Heart and St. Paul’s schools locally, as well as in Ware, MA, Elizabeth, Harrison and North Bergen, New Jersey. Sister also served at St. Agnes Residence in New York City.
Sister is survived by her brother Robert and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Edward.
Wake services will be held Tuesday, November 13th from 4-8PM in the Motherhouse Chapel (Marian Heights) 314 Osgood Ave., New Britain, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, November 14th, 2012 at 3PM in the Motherhouse Chapel. Burial will be in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
