on November 30, 2020 at HOCC New Britain after a long illness. Stanislaw was born on January 13, 1933 in Piatkowizna, Poland to the late Wladyslaw Malz and Marianna Pliszka Malz.
Stanislaw served in the Polish Army from 1954-1956 and then did his apprenticeship as a tailor. He married his beautiful Stefania in 1961 and they made their first home in Zabiele where their first two sons, Miroslaw and Jerzy were born. In 1964, they moved to Rumy to manage their own farm and welcomed the addition of another son, Krzysztof and daughter Anna to their growing family. They lived in Rumy, Poland until moving to the United States in 1982.
Settling in New Britain, CT Stanislaw worked as a steam presser at American Bazaar in New Britain for nine years and then Magson Uniform Company in Kensington until his retirement in 1995. He was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Church and was a very devoted Catholic.
He cherished time spent with family and after retirement helped raise his grandchildren whom he loved dearly. He enjoyed gardening and home improvement projects especially fixing his white picket fence. He was often called upon by friends and family to make use of his tailoring skills and he took great pride in being able to use his craft.
In addition to his wife, he is survived and will be dearly missed by:
Anna Malz (daughter) and her sons Daniel and Alexander;
Krzysztof Malz (son) and his children Nicholas, Michael, and Cassandra;
Jerzy Malz (son), his wife Barbara, and their daughters Justyna, Aleksandra, and Julia;
Krystyna Malz (daughter-in-law) and her children Michelle, Victor and Veronica;
Teresa Krysiak (sister) and her husband Boleslaw Krysiak of Piatkowizna, Poland as well as many nieces and nephews in the US and Poland.
Stanislaw was predeceased by his son Miroslaw Malz, his grandson Tomasz Malz, his sisters: Zofia Lepicka, Anna Krysiak, Stefania Krysiak, Stanislawa Malz, Helena Malz and his beloved brother Wladyslaw Malz.
Stanislaw's family would like to express their deep gratitude to the HOCC New Britain staff for their exceptional care.
