Stefan Lepczynski

He was born in Poland and has lived in Prospect for over 35 years. He retired from Emerson Electric in Watertown after 16 years of service. He enjoyed gardening, traveling and visiting his homeland in Poland, but most of all he loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 40 years, Krystyna (Kowalska) Lepczynki; his beloved daughter, Mary Mroczek and her husband, Mariusz of Plainville and his beloved granddaughter, who was his pride and joy, Gabriela.

He is also survived by his brother, Stanislaw Lepczynki of Poland; a sister in law and her husband, Barbara and Grzegorz Wichlinski of Naugatuck and his godchildren Tania and Krzysztof; also surviving are daughters his in-laws, Zofia and Stefan Mroczek of Berlin. He was predeceased by three brothers and three sisters.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday August, 30, 2012 8:30 am at the New Britain Memorial Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave., New Britain followed by the funeral liturgy at 9:30 AM at Sacred Heart Church. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Wednesday from 5 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. (Directions, Exit 37 off I-84 take a right at the exit, ½ miles on your right.
