

Stefania (Brodzik) Brzoska, 90, widow of Stanislaw Brzoska, of New Britain, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, Dec. 8, 2013, surrounded by her loving family, at New Britain General. She was born in Poland and was daughter to the late Stanislaw and Anna (Jedrzejczyk) Brodzik and immigrated to the States in 1968. She had retired from Winslow Automatic and was a member of Sacred Heart Church and active in various polish community programs.
She is survived and will be missed by her son; Miroslaw Szafranski and his wife, Teresa, her two grandsons; Arthur Szafranski and his wife, Maria and Peter Szafranski and his wife, Jennifer, all of New Britain, her two precious great grandchildren; Ava and Mia, a special niece; Agnieszka Klimas and her husband Grzegorz and their children, Julian and Oliver, of New Britain, her four brothers; Zygmund and his wife Zofia, Franciszek and his wife Maria, Konstanty and his wife Sabina and Stefan and his wife Stefania and a sister, Zofia Kowalczyk and many nieces and nephews, all in Poland. She was also predeceased by a brother, Stanislaw and a sister, Rozalia Siok.
Funeral services will begin Thursday, Dec. 12, 2013 at 8:30am from New Britain Memorial Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave., New Britain, followed by the funeral liturgy at 9:30 am in Sacred Heart Church. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Visitation hours will be Wed.
