Teodoro "Teddy" Teti

Teodoro “Teddy” Teti, age 92, passed away Tuesday, October 31, 2023. Originally from Filedelphia, Province of Catanzaro, Calabria, Italy. Teodoro was a proud resident of New Britain since 1953. He was proud to be an American citizen and even more so of his 18 dedicated years of work at Stanley Works, where he retired in 1996.

Teodoro is survived by his loving wife, Veronica Teti of whom have shared 70 years of marriage with and his loving family, including son Frank Teti and grandson Austin Teti, son Joseph Teti, his wife Corrine Teti and grandson Christopher Teti, his late son Bruno Teti, grandson Matthew Teti, granddaughter Gina Teti, and great-grandson Michael Andrade.

Teodoro was very active in his Catholic faith and a dedicated church member of Saint Ann’s Parish. He found the most joy in gardening, repairing things around the house, making homemade wine, eating the hottest peppers, and playing games with his family such as bocce and cards. Teodoro will be most remembered for his sense of humor that lit up any room, his hardworking nature and genuine selflessness.

Calling hours for Teodoro will be held Thursday, November 9, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at New Britain Memorial & Sagarino Funeral Home located at 444 Farmington Ave. New Britain, CT 06053. A brief gathering will be held Friday morning at the funeral home prior to Mass from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will occur Friday, November 10, 2023 at 10:30 AM at Saint Ann’s Church, 101 North Street, New Britain, CT 06053. Committal service will occur Friday November 10, 2023 at 11:40 AM at Saint Mary Cemetery, 1309 Stanley Street, New Britain, CT 06051.
