Viola Kindley

Viola Lisitano Kindley, 92 lifelong resident of Middletown, CT passed away peacefully at Portland Care & Rehabilitation on July 26, 2023. Born October 2, 1930, to Sebastian and Maria (Romano) Lisitano in Middletown. The last of a generation of a large close family from Green Street. Viola worked many years at Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company in Middletown, Wallace Silversmiths in Wallingford, CT, and then at Bob’s Stores in Middletown and their Distribution Center in Meriden, CT. Viola loved playing Bingo, lottery scratch tickets, time at the Casinos, and spending time with her large loving family. She was predeceased by brothers Frank, Salvatore, Joseph, and Sebastian. Sisters Angelina, Mary, Rose, Isabel, Carol, & Helen. and son-in-law Kenneth (Kip) Peterson.

Viola leaves behind her daughter Debra Peterson (Scott Meadors), LaBelle, FL, Grandchildren Chad Peterson (Robert Estep), Lakewood Ranch, FL, Jodi Peterson (Sean Mandel) Marlborough, CT, Great granddaughter Marissa Peterson (Aaron Yousufi), Woodbury, NY. Great grandchildren Logan Jackson and Rose Mandel, Marlborough, CT.

At Viola’s request services will be private and at the family's convenience.

Inurnment will take place at St. Sebastian’s Cemetery in Middlefield, CT at a later date.
