Wanda Reyes

Wanda Reyes, 63, of New Britain, passed away peacefully on March 31, 2012 at New Britain General Hospital with family by her side. Wanda was born on July 6, 1948 to the late Czeslaw Grzelak and Stanislawa (Szydlowski). She attended local schools, and worked for many years as a nurse’s aide. She was a parishioner of the Sacred Heart Church. She enjoyed and spent most of her time with her family, grandchildren, great grandchild and friends. She loved her family greatly, always caring deeply for those around her. Wanda is survived and will be dearly missed by her mother Stanislawa Grzelak , her daughters, Lisa Hlavati and her husband Michael of New Britain, and Jeanné Caron and her husband Patrik of Fitchburg, MA, her sisters Teresa Grzelak of New Britain and Diane Davis and her husband Larry of PA, grandchildren Joseph and Stephanie Hlavati, Austin, Devin and Chase Caron, great granddaughter Natalie Hlavati. In addition to her father, Wanda is predeceased by her son, Scott Reyes. Friends and family are invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday April 4th, from 7:30-9:30am, at the New Britain Memorial-Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Avenue, New Britain, followed by her memorial service at 10AM in the Sacred Heart Church, Broad St. New Britain.
