He grew up in Mayberry Village East Hartford in the 50s when it was a wonderful place to be a kid. He was an LPN in CT for many years and spent the past ten years in Florida.
He leaves behind his sister Pat (Watras) and her husband Joe Wheeler of Wethersfield, his sister Dorothy (Porri) of Ithaca N. Y., and his brother John Donegan of Farmington. He was predeceased by his sister Jane Gorman of Cape Cod. He leaves his daughter Erin Frere, her husband Eric of Maryland and 2 granddaughters Charlotte and Ella. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews along with his step-father Francis Charest and his stepmother Margie Donegan as well as many friends.
