William Levi Ellison Sr.

William Levi Ellison Sr., 86, Bristol, CT received his wings to glory on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 . Born in Hollywood, AL the son of the late Elijah and the late Eula (Allison) Ellison, he was employed at Howard/New Britain Dry Cleaners for 55 years before his retirement. He was a member of Grace C.M.E. Church, New Britain.

He is survived by his wife, Lilliemay (Fox) of 30 years. Two daughters Tracy Green and Trina (Eugene) PItts. One son, William Levi Ellison, Jr. Eight grandchildren, Tynea Carpenter, Alvin Green, Jr, Lailynn PItts, Lavaune Ellison, Brittany Green, Aisha and Dymonne Ellison and Elyntra (Tevin) Whitner. Three great grandchildren, Lavaune Ellison, Jr, De'Aishalynn Carpenter, and Armonnie Woodie. He is survived by one sister, Rev. Nannie L. Lampkin, several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He is pre-deceased by Jannie Scott, Ida Mae Coffey, Anna Edwards, Emmett Ellison, and Eddie Hugh Ellison.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 24, 2017 at 12 noon at the Second Baptist Church, 55 Chapman Street, New Britain with the Reverend Thomas A. Mills, Jr., officiating.
