Wladyslaw Bogacz

Wladyslaw Bogacz, 76, of New Britain passed away Tuesday October 28, 2025 at Hartford Hospital in CT. He was the beloved husband of Halina Bogacz for 51 years. He was born in Stare Bogaczowice in Poland on March 28, 1949, son of Bronislawa and Wojciech Bogacz. Wladyslaw came from Poland to the USA in 1990. He lived in New Britain for 35 years. Besides his wife, he survived by his daughter Wioletta Chrostowski and her husband Jerzy, of Wethersfield, his daughter Malgorzata Karpinski of Wethersfield, and four grandchildren Aleksandra and Julia Chrostowski, Krzysztof and Monika Karpinski, sister Wanda Karczmarz and her husband Tusiek, of Poland, and other extended family members.

He enjoyed family gatherings and spending time with grandchildren. He loved to play on an accordion and keyboard. He enjoyed camping every year. He will be loved and missed forever.

Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Monday November 3 from 5-7pm at New Britain Memorial-Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave., New Britain. His funeral services will be on Tuesday, November 4, 9:30-10:30am at the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 11am at Sacred Heart Church, 158 Broad St., New Britain, CT. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, 662 Burritt St., New Britain.
